  1. Tom, I’m sure by now you know the Daily World is going to 3 day a week delivery?

    • Three Day Night... says:

Did they publish that in the paper? What day?

      • Not been in the paper yet, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday deliveries, more like a Sunday paper, thicker, more stuff in each issue.

        • Three Day Night... says:

I wonder what their circulation will do after this. Printed news will be so late it will be worthless. I guess they could just publish local news about Grays Harbor. No point in having anything from the wire anymore. That would all be old news. These days there is so much wire stuff used as filler. Even the NCN has used filler from the wire. Should be interesting.

the problem I see is they want people to pay to read their stuff online – usually not worth reading especially for the amount they want to charge

when their online stories were free, the price was right

            • Three Day Night says:

They do need to improve the online selection. Currently about one third of the articles, even local, get posted. You have to wait a day ot see the eEdition for the current day. That is unacceptable. Maybe they will focus more on the local news, and give us more, and forget the national stuff. That is easily obtained from national outlets.
